Permaculture: Five things that would be helpful to publicize the convergence


(1)      Renewable energy – passive and active

The debating chamber building for the National Assembly of Wales - the Senedd - was officially inaugurated in March 2006. The design approach is an interesting example of how to create a building that naturally responds to the dynamics of the local environment on the one hand; while ensuring it's possible to use a selection of renewables - geothermal and biomass in this case - on the other.

Graywater reuse may not be a permissible use of water under a domestic well permit or a community water supply system.

Rainwater harvesting is the process of intercepting storm-water runoff and putting it to beneficial use.

In most areas of Colorado, the most common way to use rainwater is to direct roof gutter downspouts to landscape areas you wish to water.

The state of Colorado allows limited collection and use of precipitation from residential property rooftops in cases where the landowner uses or is entitled to only certain types of well permits to use well water for their domestic nonpotable water supply.

Mechanical degradation of the soil is a consequence of movement and visit of animals, either directly by trampling (surface compacting of the soil), or indirectly as a result of partial or total disappearance of plant cover (wind and water erosion). Mechanical degradation of the soil is produced in areas much frequented by livestock, but is particularly worrying in areas subject to major climatic constraints, especially sub-arid areas. This is one of the causes of desertification.

Objectives

One is attempting to restore or increase the water content of soils, and thus watering of plants by improving the structure of these soils and reduction of rain water run-off. Several means are adopted:

-Breaking up the surface of the soil.
-Creation of a certain roughness of the soil, thus creating micro-reliefs.
-Establishment or maintenance of plant cover.
-Control of animal load.

It goes without saying that the causes of degradation should be reduced or eliminated, i.e. manage and control the animal load.

This technique enables regeneration of natural grass and tree vegetation, in all their botanic diversity. This vegetation should be considered part of the biological activity of the soil, as a mechanical protector of that soil and a provider of biomass and forage

Capture the energy of sunlight. Do you have windows with decent sun exposure? Then look into window gardening! For example, this neat hydroponic window farms initiative, developed through open-source collaboration, requires minimum space and no soil. Or you can experiment with other kinds of DIY designs using plastic bottles.

मरुस्थलीकरण के कारण

रेगिस्तान के कारणों को समझने के लिए किसानों को शिक्षित करना , आदमी को प्रेरित करना .


1 - शुष्क विषय क्षेत्रों में सार्वजनिक भूमि पर अतिरिक्त पशुधन को बनाए रखना

2 - गहरी जुताई द्वारा पौधा पेड़ की भूमि को कवर विनाश का हटाया जाना .

3 – इन दिनों सूखा जानवरों जैसे ऊंट या खच्चरों / घोड़े की तरफ थोड़ा कम ध्यान दिया जा रहा है जिसको को भले ही एक दिन के लिए दे , नियमित दें !

4 - मिट्टी संबंधी विषयों में मनुष्यों की भूमिका की कम समझ के कारण ! नमी बनाए रखने और उर्वरक के बजाय अन्यों का प्रयोग ताकि मिट्टी का क्षय न हो ! पशु खाद के रूप में क्षेत्र का उपयोग करने के लिए .

5 - पानी और हवा के कारण मिट्टी और रेत के कटाव से सतत नुकसान .

6 - ट्रैक्टरों उपयोग गहरे रेगिस्तान में करना. इस पूरे क्षेत्र भर में गोल आवरण का विनाश है.

7 - मुख्य कारण कम पोषण , जिसके परिणामस्वरूप कम बाजार मूल्य और खराब स्वास्थ्य नतीजा सामने आ जाता है ! बारहमासी पौधा की भूमि को कवर की हानि, गुणवत्ता नष्ट होती जा रही है . पशुओं के पोषण की मुश्किल हो गया है .

8 - मृदा संरचना और सामंजस्य गंभीर रूप से पहाड़ी मिट्टी bresult कटाव पर भारी ट्रैक्टर के पारित होने के द्वारा बदल दिया है .

9 - कारण संयंत्र और पेड़ कवर की कमी , बीज , फसलों के छोटे परागण , कम पैदावार , कम बाजार मूल्य को biodioersity कम .

10 -. परिणाम हवा कटाव , उच्च वाष्पीकरण अधिक कम वर्षा - सीमित पेड़ कवर की वजह से Inorared हवा की गति .

11 - तेजी से बड़े क्षेत्रों ट्रेक्टर और भर्ती फसलों के बाजार मूल्य के तहत लाया जाता है क्योंकि अधिशेष की आपूर्ति के लिए कम है .

12 - द्वारा स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं की सरकार और गरीब ज्ञान से उच्च उपज दूध बकरी breading के लिए कोई ध्यान . किसान चरवाहे . पशु चिकित्सा कार्यकर्ताओं बहुत कुछ कर रहे हैं .

13 - वन विभाग गंभीर सामाजिक जरूरत नहीं है. क्षेत्र में वानिकी गतिविधियों यह राजस्थान में अच्छा पेड़ नर्सरी शेयर सबसे रेगिस्तान प्रजातियों के पेड़ के माध्यम से प्रकट होता है.



CAUSES OF DESERTIFICATION

Educate farmers to understand the causes of desert, man induced


01 – Excess livestock maintained on public lands in arid topic areas

02 – Removal of ground cover destruction of sapling trees by deep ploughing.

03 – Little attention now a days to drought animals such camels or mules/horses.

04 – Little understanding of the role of humans in the soil profile to retain moisture and use of area as fertilizer instead of animal manure so impoverishing soil.

05 – Continuous loss of soil and sand to water and wind erosion.

06 – The use of tractors deep plough sandy desert soil has resulted is the destruction of round cover across the whole region.

07 – Loss of ground cover of perennials has  impoverished the nutrition of livestock – result poor health due to reduced nutrition, low market value resulting.

08 – Soil structure and cohesion is severely altered by passage of heavy tractors on hill soil bresult erosion.

09 – Reduced biodioersity due to reduction of plant and tree cover, smaller pollination of seeds, crops, lower yields, less market value.

10 – Inourared wind speed due to limited tree cover – result wind erosion, high evaporation plus low precipitation.

11 - Increasingly large areas are brought under the tractor and the market value of recruiting crops is reduced because of surplus supply.

12 - No attention to breading of high yield milk goats by the government and poor knowledge of health problems by. peasant pastoralists . Veterinary workers are very few.

13 – Forestry department does not have serious social. Forestry activities in the region it appears through good tree nurseries stock most desert tree species in Rajasthan.

Permaculture Design

Thinking tools, that when used together, allow us to creatively re-design our environment and our behavior in a world of less energy and resources.


The foundations of permaculture are the ethics (centre) which guide the use of the 12 design principles, ensuring that they are used in appropriate ways.
These principles are seen as universal, although the methods used to express them will vary greatly according to the place and situation. They are applicable to our personal, economic, social and political reorganisation as illustrated in the permaculture flower.
Each principle can be thought of as a door that opens into whole systems thinking, providing a different perspective that can be understood at varying levels of depth and application.
